iFi Audio – iPower Elite Power Supply
iFi Audio iPower Elite Power Supplies are your best tool to get most performance from your DACs, Servers, Network Switches, or any device with a power supply input jack. These are optimized for high efficiency and low standby power. The extreme audio noise reduction is where the magic comes from.
A power supply upgrade is often the most impactful improvement you can make to a component. These Elite power supplies from iFi Audio are small but with their advanced technological engineering, they are extremely powerful.
If your HiFi component uses either of these, we guarantee replacing it with an iPower Elite will transform the performance of that device. We back it up with a 45-day trial period.
Expensive equipment typically ships with generic power supplies. This is like putting supermarket fuel in a Ferrari. It deserves the best but isn’t getting it.
The generic SMPS power supply (PS) is very noisy. Many upgraded audiophile linear PS is better, but still have huge noise at the rectification frequencies and at multiples 50Hz, 100Hz, 150Hz (or 60, 120, 180 for 60Hz countries), etc.
The iPower Elite was designed to deliver the smooth and silent power. It gives your streamer/DAC/amplifier all the silent, clean power of a battery with none of the hassles.
Based on military tech, our improved Active Noise Cancellation II® actively cancels all incoming noise.
It does this in a similar way to active noise-canceling headphones – it generates a signal identical to that of the incoming electrical noise but in the opposite phase, actively canceling it out. This is highly effective at removing low- and mid-frequency noise, while passive insulating filters deal with higher frequency interference. This combination is measurably more effective at eradicating noise corrupting the USB signal than devices relying solely on passive filtering.
Talk about tech

I can’t believe it really improved sound quality!
I’m not the type to buy anything and everything labeled “audiophile” but I’m open to trying things. Personally I prefer to not hear any improvement to save myself money. I definitely have returned items in the past. Recently I tried the iFi iPower X both in 12v and 15v. I did notice subtle difference, but the difference is so small that it could very well be just some sort of bias so I decided to return them.
Just before I returned the X version, the Elite version happen to come out so I decided to try it. I guess why not. Wow! Going back and forth between the Elite and standard adapter, the improvement in sound is very noticeable across the board with the Elite! I am not very fluent with audiophile lingo, but I’d say there’s better bass, cleaner sound, and micro details are more noticeable overall. Really hate to spend $300 on an adapter, but returning it would mean I will miss out on audio quality!
I have RME ADI-2 DAC FS (v2 with updated DAC chip).
Better than SBooster linear power supply!
I tested it against the 400 dollar mkii sBooster linear Power supply. It was cleaner faster and more transparent.
Audio upgrade for Chord Qutest DAC
Bought as upgrade for Chord Qutest DAC. The Qutest sounds terrific straight out of the box with the supplied switch mode power supply but this device is a huge improvement over the supplied PSU. Yes, it is expensive and a lot of people probably would scoff at spending that amount, but it certainly improves the clarity and soundstage of my Qutest in my system. I used a Russ Andrews SuperKord to connect the iFi Power Elite to the mains. I didn’t try it with a cheaper mains cable.
